Is it ever ok to say “no” to career development discussions?

I’ve been in the same role for over 5 years and have interviewed often for different positions at the same company. I appreciate support, but frankly, I don’t want to talk about career development right now because I feel very bitter; I would rather focus on my positive accomplishments. Is there a tactful way to get out of these so that I don’t feel miserable after each discussion?
